Hardwood Floor Installation
Our professional staff can tackle any of your installation needs.
- Replacing Carpet. If you are looking to replace your carpet with a new hardwood floor we can remove the carpet, prep the floor for installation, and install a new floor using the wood of your choosing. Saving and replacing existing molding and trim is included if you so choose.
- Laying Floor on Concrete. If you have a concrete floor but would like to install hardwood, we can do that. You can choose engineered flooring which is of higher quality than a laminate and provides the opportunity to refinish in the future if you choose. This is a very reasonable solution for installing wood over concrete. We can also nail in a sub-floor on your concrete so that we can install a traditional hardwood floor as you would anywhere else in your house. These solutions are ideal for basements and apartment buildings.
- Installing Over Laminate. If you would like to replace your laminate floor with a real hardwood floor, we can simply lay the new floor right over the top of the existing floor. This may cause a height differential that is unacceptable to the customer. In which case we are happy to remove the laminate and install directly into the existing sub-floor.
- Reinstallation. Before deciding to reinstall, we strongly recommend that you consider repairing and refinishing your existing floor. We specialize in this kind of restoration. If you absolutely must replace your current wood floor we can manage the removal as well as the reinstallation.
